Dr. Chris Abram graduated from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY in 2000 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and has been practicing pharmacy for 8 years. His pharmacy background includes working as a staff pharmacist and in an independent retail chain setting. Chris has also worked in long-term care providing pharmacy services to skilled nursing homes and assisted living facilities. He has worked in Wyoming and Colorado and is licensed in both states. Chris joined Clinical Prevention in August 2008.
Brenda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida in 1994 and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix with a focus in Health Care Management. Brenda’s career in nursing has ranged from working on an OB unit in a hospital to assessing cardiac patients in their home to the development of evidenced based programs supporting identified public health needs. Brenda’s focus and passion has always been evaluating the whole person as it relates to their health, with an understanding that there are multiple factors which influence our decisions and health.
Elaine received her Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and her Bachelor of Arts in English from Florida State University. Her background of 15 years includes reference librarian, literature search, and competitive analysis roles in the pharmaceutical industry. Her expert research skills and knowledge of sources enable her to deliver targeted information to support client decision-making. She is a member of the Medical Library and Special Library professional associations. Elaine joined Clinical Prevention in November 2009.
Ashlee received her Master of Science in Nursing/Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado in 2004. She also has her Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Disorders and Speech Science with an emphasis on Deaf Education from the University of Colorado. Her background includes experience in the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and Flight Nursing. She also worked with the Cardiothoracic Surgeons in Wyoming. The focus of her career has been adult acute care, but has experience working with both adult and pediatric populations. Ashlee joined Clinical Prevention in April 2008.
Martha received her Master of Science in Nursing from Wright State University in Adult Community Health and her Master of Science from Ohio State University in Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Her background includes over 32 years of clinical experience in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and in autonomous office practices. The focus of her care has been adult chronic illness and primary women's care. She is also a Clinical Nurse Specialist in High Risk Perinatology. In addition to her clinical experience Martha taught nursing at OSU, developed and provided community health education courses, and developed and implemented a variety of community health-related programs. Martha joined Clinical Prevention in April of 2007.
Ms. Moore received her Master of Science in Nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wyoming. Her nursing career spans 3 decades and has focused primarily on providing care to individuals and families in their homes and communities – encouraging and supporting health promotion to diverse populations of all ages. Professional activities and goals consist of educating healthcare consumers and improving resource allocation in contemporary healthcare services. Ms. Moore joined Clinical Prevention in January of 2006, during the initial research phase of HealthAssist.
Ms. Napelbaum received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston with a focus on oncology nursing and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware. Her clinical background includes over 10 years working in the home, hospital and community settings providing direct patient care to adults with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Her primary focus has been on providing compassionate care and decision support for patients and families faced with difficult medical issues. She most recently worked in end of life care.
Ms. Napelbaum has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry and in the area of medical-legal consulting.
Marilyn received her Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rush University. Her clinical background of 25 years includes work in hospital, outpatient, and community settings. In addition to direct patient care and discharge planning experience, Marilyn is also a Certified Diabetes Educator and Certified Pump Trainer. Most recently, she has shared her passion for health empowerment by teaching comprehensive outpatient diabetes self-management classes. Marilyn also helps facilitate a diabetes support group, and provides diabetes related talks to civic organizations. She has experience working with both adult and pediatric populations. Marilyn joined Clinical Prevention in August 2009.
Ms. O'Rourke graduated from the University of Connecticut and New York Medical College Graduate School of Nursing. Her nursing experience included oncology and public health with a focus on adult preventive services. In addition, she was self-employed as a Certified Massage Therapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist, assisting people with medical conditions as well as those who were motivated to make positive health changes in their lives. Noreen is active as a trustee for a nonprofit foundation to benefit girls and women in Larimer County.
Ms. Judy R. Robinson is the Director of Clinical Prevention and provides daily leadership to the clinical staff to ensure quality and personal care to KnovaSolutions customers. She received her Masters of Public Health from San Diego State University with a focus on Women and Children services and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Point Loma College in San Diego, CA. Her clinical background includes 28 years of nursing in hospitals, homes and community settings providing direct patient care to adults and children. Her management focus has included positions as the Director of Quality and Risk Management and Patient Safety Officer for a health system and Clinical Services Executive for a nonprofit home health hospice. She is an examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award for Colorado and coordinated Magnet Designation for Nursing Excellence, JCAHO, ISMP and numerous agencies site visits. Her background with continuous quality improvement activities has continued with a Six Sigma certification. She volunteers as an elected member of the Larimer County Public Health Department, Board of Health and the Front Range Community College, Medical Advisory Committee to support education, access and quality public health services.
Ms. Struempf received her Master of Science in zoology and physiology and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Wyoming. She has experience working in several settings including community pharmacy in a retail chain, ambulatory care and hospitals. She has worked in Wyoming, Colorado, and Montana. She joined Clinical Prevention in May of 2009.
Ms. Supola received a Master of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina where her focus was Adult Health/Cardiac Disease.
Her clinical background includes 6 years of hospital nursing both at large teaching centers and small rural community hospitals. For over 5 years she worked at Options & Choices, Inc. (OCI) providing individual health consultation as well as clinical staff and account management. Most recently she has been an adjunct faculty member at Asheville-Buncombe Technical College teaching in the RN program.
Ms. Supola is also on the Board of Directors for the Haywood Regional Hospital in the community where she lives. Suzanne joined Clinical Prevention in October of 2008.
Ms. White has been practicing and expanding the role of nursing for over 30 years. Her clinical practice has included critical care nursing, hospital staff development, management, occupational health nursing management and healthcare business development. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois - Chicago.
In additional to her clinical experience, Ms. White has been active internationally in presenting USA nursing standards to the global community and working as a nursing consultant to governmental agencies to implement Western healthcare in Russia. Her expertise is in organizational development working with startup healthcare businesses.
